Protecting God's Children

Resurrection will be hosting a Protecting God's Children session on Wednesday, September 18th at 6:30 pm in Cornelius Hall. Maximum attendance will be 25 people. A light supper will be served. NOTE:
Protecting God's Children is a one-time, diocesan course required of anyone over the age of 18 who anticipates working minor children and youth. This would include catechists, classroom aides, children's liturgy volunteers, youth ministry volunteers, Vacation Bible School leaders, etc...anyone who comes into contact with our young people at Resurrection. This safety course is recommended for all parents, as well. It is highly informative and the course content gives you warning signs and strategies for protecting your own children from potential abuse.
