Neighborhood Food Pantries
What is a Neighborhood Food Pantry? A Neighborhood Food Pantry is a collaboration of churches and organizations that provide people in need with food and emergency help with utilities, rent, auto assistance, and shelter. Resurrection is one of three host sites. We provide food for approximately 700 families each month and help many others with emergency needs.
The Respect Life Ministry hopes to build a Culture of Life where every human being is valued and protected from the moment of conception until natural death. This involves educating the parish community on a wide rage of life issues including Abortion, Post-abortion Healing, Euthanasia, Chastity Education, Embryonic Stem Cell Research, Human Cloning, Capital Punishment, Ethical Vaccines, Fertility Issues and Artificial Contraception.
THM helps to provide short term shelter and support for homeless families, referred by Bridge Communities, in a caring and nonjudgmental manner as they work toward independence and self-sufficiency.
