What is the Bible? How did the books of the Bible come to be written? Join us as we take a look at how we in the Roman Catholic Tradition understand the Bible. The evening will include a brief history of the Bible and mining the meaning of particular texts. Please bring your own Bible.

Our speaker will be Sallie Latkovich, C.S.J. Director of the Bible Study and Travel Program at the Catholic Theological Union in Chicago, where she teaches Biblical Foundations of Spirituality and directs the Summer Institute. Sister Sallie is no stranger to Resurrection, as she led our 2017 Lenten Mission, Making Holy Week Holy.  Her book, Mining the Meaning of the Bible will be available that evening for $6.00.
