Who are the Secular Franciscans?
We are brothers and sisters of the Secular Franciscan Order committed by profession to living the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. As a community we help bring about the Kingdom of God by making our Fraternity a living example of Franciscan virtues through shared prayer, stewardship, apostolic activites and working for social justice.
We exercise our commitment to the Gospel by actively seeking Christ in others and serving as credible witnesses to the Catholic faith through the example and charism of St. Francis of Assisi.
If you are interested in sharing a rich calling that asks only that you share your love of the Gospel with a like minded community, come join us! We meet on the first Sunday of the month in the St. Francis room here at the parish. We share lunch at 12pm and meet at 1pm until about 3pm.
