Sewing Ministry
Purpose/Mission Statement
The Sewing Ministry responds to the needs of the parish for altar linens, vestments, and banners. These projects encompass both basic and advanced sewing skills.
Time/Talent Needs
A desire to sew projects as needed by the parish.
Qualifications
One must have basic sewing skills, have access to a sewing machine, and be willing to complete a project in a given time frame.
Level of Commitment
Since the projects vary in difficulty and scope, there are various levels of commitment. It is usually possible to match one's current schedule to a suitable project. Also, some projects can be done individually while some are accomplished in a group setting.
